Hip Squares Beach Tote – Free Pattern

THIS PATTERN WAS DESIGNED BY Joanna of Goddess Crochet, EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE STITCHIN’ MOMMY

Summer is here, are you ready to hit the beach!? If so, then you’ll need something to tote all your “beachy” items. The “Hip Squares Beach Tote” is just the thing.

This bag has a flat bottom, and is big enough to hold your towel, sunscreen, wallet, cell phone, keys, a book, and a few snacks – everything you need for a day out on the sand. If you have children, well, you may just need to make TWO of these bags to carry everything.

Not a beach person? This tote also makes a great market bag so you don’t end up taking home a handful of plastic bags. It fits a LOT. My favorite feature of this bag is the wide strap. Too often bags are sliding off my shoulders or digging into my skin because of a skinny strap. Not this one! It measures a generous 3-1/2” across to keep that bag on your shoulder no matter how much you put in it. Fill it up to the brim – I dare ya!
