Enchanted Evening Button Cowl – Free Pattern

Enchanted Evening Button Cowl - Free Pattern | www.thestitchinmommy.com
As I mentioned last week, I received an awesome surprise from Red Heart! The sent me a box with two gorgeous skeins of yarn. I used the Boutique Twilight to make my Romance in Twilight Mobius Scarf and today I am using the Boutique Infinity to make this gorgeous Enchanted Evening Button Cowl! The cowl can be worn in several different ways since it doesn’t require button holes and best of all, it only takes one skein of yarn to make it! I hope you enjoy the pattern. Happy crocheting!

I also received a complimentary skein of the yarn used in this pattern, from Red Heart Yarns, to be used in my design. I was not financially compensated to use this products in my post.

Fasten off, weave all ends. (Note: If you want to seam the cowl, leave a long tail to sew the two ends together)

Finish:

  • Fold the cowl so that one end overlaps the other.
  • Arrange your buttons on the left side of the cowl (it will be the right side when you are wearing it), between rows 2 and 3.
  • Using extra yarn or a needle and thread, sew the buttons onto the cowl.
  • There are no need for button holes since the stitch pattern created spaces that you can slip the buttons through.
